Since tattoos are permanent wouldn’t be a good idea to test one before you get the ink applied?

There are a lot of things that can make a difference in the end appearance of your tattoo with the two major ones being location and size.

If you are putting a tattoo on your bicep how large should it be?

If you are putting a tattoo on your bicep how far down your arm should it be?

If you are putting a tattoo on your bicep what is it going to look like when you flex your arm?

If you are putting a tattoo on your lower back how wide should it be, how far down your back should it be, what will it look like when you bend?

These are all questions that you can’t really see the answer until you actually have the tattoo applied. But once you put the ink into your skin it isn’t easy to change.

Testing the tattoo actually on your body is the best and only way to get the answers to these questions.

But how do you test a tattoo?

You can look for a temporary tattoo that is similar to your tattoo design and try it on. This will give you a good idea of what the tattoo will look like once it is on your body but, more then likely, it won’t be the exact tattoo that you are looking for.

If you have already found the perfect tattoo design for yourself and you have the tattoo stencil and color reference for your tattoo then it is possible to create your own custom temporary tattoo using special paper for your printer.

This can be done by simply printing out the tattoo design, using the color reference, in several different sizes and trying it on.

You should test the tattoo design in several different sizes and different locations to see where it looks the best. The special temporary tattoo sheets come in 8 ½ inch by 11 inch size so depending on the tattoo you should be able to fit several on one sheet. But for example if you are doing a lower back tattoo you might only be able to fit one or two per sheet.

You should wear your custom tattoo design for at least a day and ask your friends and family how it looks. This will not only give you and idea of where it will look the best, and the proper size for your tattoo but it will also give you an idea of how your friends and family will react to the tattoo.

Click on Transfer Paper to get your own.

On a woman’s body there are quite a few places that can be thought of as sensual. Although this varies from culture to culture, many consider the most sensitive areas to be the nape of the neck and the infamous lower back. With that being said, it’s really not hard to see why lower back tattoos have become so popular over the years.

Although women, like men, can put tattoos almost anywhere, the lower back is one of the most erotic and sensual areas women can get tattooed. Lower back tattoos are easy to cover up as well, which is great for those who aren’t allowed to have tattoos at work. Unlike other areas of the body, the lower back is completely covered up by a shirt. With the lower back – you only show the tattoo off when you want.

The ease to show or hide lower back tattoos has helped to increase popularity, as well as the desire, or sensuality. When a woman tells someone, especially a man, that she has a lower back tattoo – the mind often wonders. Lower back tattoos create a sensual and tantalizing appeal. Normally, these tattoos are done around the waist line. While part of it may be hidden by a women’s birthday suit – there may very well be a part of it showing as well. For lovers, a lower back tattoo can be very sensual and sexual, a secret that is shared only between the two.

The various designs and shape of the tattoo will often times enhance both the look and the appeal of the entire lower back area. The design of the tattoo is normally a small and shallow curvature that enables it to fit perfectly to the curves of the female back and natural curves of her hips. The lower back tattoo helps to accentuate an already breathtaking part of the female anatomy and enhance an area that is well known for its sensuality.

Popular designs for lower back tattoos include flowers, vines, and stars. Winged creature designs work good as well, as the wings of the monster can stretch his wings across the entire lower back region. Angels, dragonflies, and birds also seem to work quite well. You can add natural designs to the creatures as well, including plants and flowers. The lower back is a great area for tattoos – giving you unlimited possibility to use your imagination.

Although there are a lot of options and designs available, you should always choose one that you can enjoy for the rest of your life. You should always give thought to a design, and not pick something just because it’s appealing at the time. Instead, you should look into the thought and meaning of the tattoo and decide if it’s something you can see yourself with for the rest of your life. The meaning behind a tattoo is important, both now and later on in life. When you look at designs, you should always pick the one that literally calls out to you.

Before you decide to get a lower back tattoo, you should always look at several designs first, and then decide the best one for you. If you can’t find a design that you like, at some of the online tattoo design providers like Tattoo Johnny, you can always have a professional tattoo artist design one for you. This way, you can have a tattoo design based on what you want. Although a custom design may cost a bit more money – it’s truly worth it if you want a unique and creative design that enhances the look of your lower back.

But as with any tattoo I highly recommend you test your tattoo before you actually have it permanently inked.

There are many tattoo designs that come for Celtic artwork, such as the Celtic crosses.

The history of the Celtic people dates back thousands of years and they were well know for their skills as warriors metal works and on a more civilized side they created artwork and jewelry.

Through the passage of time the Celtic people established symbols to represent themselves and their lifestyle. The most common of these is the Celtic Cross that is worn by their ancestors throughout Europe and North America.

The Celtic symbols have been passed down over the years but there is no real written history about the Celtic people, just vague references and the artwork they left behind. As time has passed the wearing of Celtic crosses and jewelry has faded from the general public but tattooing has brought the tradition back to life with the famous Celtic cross tattoos and other popular Celtic designs.

Trinity College in Ireland, has probably the most comprehensive collection of Celtic Manuscripts and designs. It is from these that most Celtic tattoos are derived.

Celtic knot tattoos feature a design that creates an endless loop that symbolizes the on going saga of life and death, in constant repeat. Even though most of the Celtic knots are never ending some people add an end and quite often these ends have end that are heads, tail and feet. This effect is said to symbolize a spiral.

Those who are from a Celtic descent, Irish, Scots, or Welsh, normally find a Celtic tattoo to be a great way to express their heritage pride. These tattoos help to reestablish pride, and give tribute to one’s ancestors. The tattoos aren’t easy to do, most taking several hours. Unlike other tattoo designs, Celtic tattoos are among the hardest designs in the world.

If you are from a Celtic descent and have decided to get a Celtic tattoo, the first thing to do is find an artist capable of doing the tattoo. The designs are very difficult and not all tattoo artists can do them. You really want to make sure you have the artist original stencil when you get a Celtic Tattoo. You can find designs like this at Tattoo Johnny It’s always best to find a tattoo artist who has a background in Celtic designs, as this will ensure the tattoo is done correctly. The artist who does the tattoo needs to have an eye for detail and exact line placement – which is a skill that not all tattoo artists possess.

If you are thinking about getting a tattoo this is where you need to be!

So, you are getting your first tattoo?

Do you know everything you should know before you get one?

We have the information that covers everything you need to know about getting your tattoo and as you can see there is a lot of good content on this site.

A little about how these pages will work. We have the search available on the top right hand side put in your keyword and see what turns up. You can also use the newest info and category sections on the right and there will be links in the text that will take you to more information. If you see some words that are blue links you can click on them for more information about that topic.

Below is just a quick overview of a few things that you should consider before you get your tattoo.

Remember a tattoo is permanent (more or less).

Tattoo removal options are limited. Yes, they have laser removal, balms and acids that will remove your tattoo but it usually still leaves a remnant of the tattoo (a slight difference in the skin color where the tattoo was). Your best bet is to make sure you have a design that you will want for the rest of our life.

Never get a tattoo under pressure.

This means if your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband or anybody else is pushing you to get a tattoo DON’T DO IT unless you are positive that you want the tattoo. You are the one that will have to live with it.

Avoid putting a name in your tattoo design.

I hate to say it but unless you are putting your name or the name of a family member like a parent, sibling or child, you don’t want to put a name in your tattoo design. The reason for this is that you might think you are going to be with that person forever. Everyone that gets married thinks this, but more then half of marriages end in divorce! Then you are left with a reminder of a time that isn’t always a pleasant experience.

Ask questions about your tattoo artist or studio.

There is information you need to know about your tattoo artist and/or studio. How long have they been in business, do they have a guarantee?

Free Tattoo Designs

There are a lot of places that you can get free tattoo designs from. A key point here is to make sure that you get an stencil and color reference for the design. The better the quality of the stencil the better the tattoo. If you can get the artist original stencil instead of having one copied by your local tattoo artist you should end up with a much better tattoo.
