Walk around, explore tattoo parlor after tattoo parlor and watch some of the artists at work if they allow you too. Ask them questions about their experience and request samples if you really are interested.
Basically, do whatever it takes to find out as much as you can about all the tattoo artists in your area, and then, once you’re done – pick the one that you feel suits your purposes best!
